Consultation -  QAA recognition of subject benchmark statements(England)

Summary

QAA is consulting on the revised process for recognition for new subject benchmark statements. These statements provide the threshold standards for higher education in particular subjects.

Semta submitted a response calling for more employer involvement in the process, and commending the engineering statement as a model incorporating the views of professional bodies, as well as utilising national standards such as UKSPEC.
