Environmental Sciences
This competition has been designed for young
people studying relevant science related subjects. The competition
will be at an advanced level which would require between 2
and 7 years of training.
The competition aims to raise skills and
awareness in science and engineering disciplines and will require
the competitor to think about socio-economic issues such
as climate change and shortages in essential resources including
water and energy. Competitors will need to analyse information and
produce a report presenting findings which will include a scheme
for small scale energy production.
Skills assessed will
include;
- team working
- time management
- strategic thinking
- technical knowledge, understanding and application
- research
- communication
How many competitors can enter from each
organisation?
Two competitors per team, there are no
restrictions on the number of entries per organisation.
