Semta's Sector Strategy Groups (SSGs) drive every aspect of our
work. Made up of senior employers, there is one SSG for each sector
that Semta represents.
As well as being the principal advisory bodies to the Semta
Board, each SSG provides strategic leadership in the work of Semta
and their sector drives the delivery of the Sector Skills Agreement

business benefits of skills development to employers throughout
their sectors.
Employers from across the science, engineering and manufacturing

valuable influence, in shaping the UK skills agenda to meet their
companies' future skills needs. They are also part of a growing
network of like-minded employers, committed to making a difference
to the performance and productivity of their companies and their
