Semta's Role

The Careers & Qualifications Centre will help you find information and useful advice on careers and qualifications available within the science, engineering and manufacturing sectors.

 

Semta is responsible for developing apprenticeship and qualification frameworks within science, engineering and manufacturing disciplines. Semta constructs apprenticeship and qualification frameworks in order to ensure employers training needs are met and that there is consistency and regulatory control.

 

Semta is also responsible for developing and maintaining the National Occupational Standards in our sectors.
