Biography - Alastair Imrie
Alastair has worked for the Global Defence, Aerospace and
Security Company, BAE Systems, for the last 22 years. He is Group
HR Director, responsible for the development and implementation of
HR Strategy worldwide and is also Group Managing Director for BAE
Systems’ Shared Services business which he formed in the Company in
2002. For the last 8 years he has been a member of BAE Systems plc
Executive Committee.
Alastair is a Non-Executive Director (and Chairman of the
Nominations/Remuneration Committee) of Semta, the UK Sector Skills
Council for Science, Engineering and Manufacturing, a Non-Executive
Director (and Chairman of the Nominations/Compensation Committee)
of Exostar an E-trading Exchange registered in Delaware, USA, a
Non-Executive Director of the charity Rathbone and Chairman of BAE
Systems Executive Pension Scheme.
