As the Sector Skills Council for Science, Engineering and
Manufacturing Technologies, our job is to help employers throughout
these exciting and dynamic sectors to meet the major skills
challenges they are experiencing.
We passionately believe that skills are the principal driver
behind the productivity and competitiveness of UK industry, and
campaign to enlighten employers as to the benefits of training and
engage more and more employers in developing the skills of their
