During November 2009, Semta and Cogent joined forces to
conduct a research survey to seek the opinions of employers across
England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. This focused
on gaining a better understanding of how recruitment, skills,
training and Continuing Professional Development affect business
performance in the Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology
and Medical Devices Sectors. The results of the research,
built on a telephone survey of 380 employers conducted by BMG
Research, are published here.
