Pharmaceutical and Bioscience Labour Market Survey

The Pharmaceutical and Bioscience Labour Market Survey collected data from 178 sites in the sector, employing nearly 27,500 people.

Overall the picture that emerges is of a sector that encompasses a wide range of companies in a number of distinct sub-sectors, from large multinational enterprises to micros with fewer than 10 employees. The sector is growing and has a high level of recruitment activity.

 

2006/7 Labour Market Survey of GB Engineering Sectors

This report is the initial result of 5129 employer interviews conducted by telephone between December 2006 and February 2007. It contains data to provide a GB wide picture of employment in the Engineering Sectors and provide an informed overview of labour market issues with particular focus on recruitment, skills and training.
